Confession. I still don’t really understand what the hofmeister kink is. There are a bunch of lines that change direction, but i don’t know which individual change constitutes the actual kink....

I would say it doesn’t count. And for that reason the whole design should be scraped. And a few others

It’s way more noteworthy on older cars. I think it really loses its charm with out a flat window line. But basically instead of the window ending in a curve or point the bottom of the window kinks up to meet the top.
